Since the introduction of the national minimum wage, there’s been a sharp drop in the number of internships we advertise.
We think this is a shame, as interns can get valuable experience and skills and make real contributions to businesses, often going on to full time employment with the same employer once the internship is complete. Indeed, we’re not the only ones to think this, as we’re noticing some undergraduates applying for internships even though they might not be accredited or formally acknowledged.
